Last year I went to the Cosplay (Costume + Play = Cosplay) party at the Japan Society. No, I didn't dress up, but a mess of other people did. Some people really went all out on their costumes by making the costumes themselves!
This year there's a screening of Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone , a DJ, World Cosplay Summit 2009 Team USA and a Cosplay competition with prizes from Kinokuniya Bookstore. Oms/b is serving up onigiri and tea and there's free admission to Graphic Heroes, Magic Monsters. Check it out!
