Literary Upstart Grande Finale

Tonite is the Grande Finale for this year's Literary Upstart contest presented by L Magazine. I went to the semi-finals and even though the readers were all barely in their twenties ;-) the stuff was pretty good. The story by the guy I liked the best also won. Hurrah! To celebrate drink up on the special $1 Forester's Whisky.

Gonna check out the L Magazine's Literary Upstart short story reading tonite at The Slipper Room. Thinking about submitting so I figure I should check out what kind of stuff they take. Note: There will be $1 Dogfish Head bottles. Not that $1 Dogfish Head bottles has anything to do with it. Just sayin'...
